[urgent!!]database is out of order, all char's info get mixed

Hello everybody, this is really urgent!!!!
My server has some problems in database.
During some minutes, one login his acc but actually logged other people's character. Each time he relog will login some random characters . It seems the database has become mixed.

a lot of players' items had been stolen. I need help

It's possible that some1 got access to ur database and injected an fun-procedure. Check the MS-SQL logs for more info about auth-sessions and check commit-logs for last changes in database-structure.

MS-SQL won't do such a crazy thing on its own, if there would be a bug like that u wouldn't be the only one that got it and MS would throw a Hotfix.

Na, its a common problem believe it or not.

Normally caused from SQL 08, its from changing too many account name, passwords and switching the characters over different accounts. Basically too much fucking around with SQL.

To fix you need to backup and restore your databases. Another fix I found was to update to the latest REST if you haven't done so already. For future use maybe try 2012 and see if it still occurs.

Thanks Delius, so if we never change any accouts/password/character names or something else like that, maybe we can get out of this bad situation . Am I right ?

No, you can do that stuff. Just don't do it often I guess...
Not exactly sure what triggers it but I've had it a few times and it was very obvious that it happened after excessive edits in SQL.

I found that using a old version of registration script has duplicated certain id's which therefore in turn would bring up this problem, i would share the one i located but i am writing this on my laptop which is on a totally different part of the country to where its been hosted from. Suggestion is to rethink your Registration script (check the numbers of the characters also) because they can be mixed up during the accounts making new accounts.

I Changed my Registration script over because of the duplicating id's thats the problem i was having
