You don't have to be a moderator to report posts. If you see spam just report it.

We aren't machines we are human. We have lives to attend to as well. We don't just sit down on ragezone 24/7 waiting for threads to pop up to delete and people to punish.

Unless you know how mod reports work here I don't know how you can come to that conclusion.

@Scratch, Impossible for a moderator to miss a report.

A lot of those threads are atleast a day old, meaning that if a mod had taken the time to just browse through the section they would have found them. The reports thing is getting old, it seems the be the answer for everything. You can't rely solely on them.

How is it old when it's rarely used? All of those threads, if reported, would have been dealt with the very same day they were posted. Were they reported? Nope.

Like I said, mods have lives, we don't sit down and browse the forum 24/7 to ninja threads. The forum is huge, and we are human, we make mistakes and overlook things. We rely on reports to help us do or job when we are away or when we miss things.

you must be kidding me really. Go check the KOTH contests and than come reply to my post. Zeaos did a KOTH i think it was KOTH #2 and someone's entry was not following the rules
the rules were written in the main thread saying that the entry MUST have "KOTH #2" as a text and the entry of that someone had GOTF instead of KOTH than mental said me to stop bitching about a typo. rules are rules, made to be followed, Zeaos just skip that rule and he just ignored his error, now don't come say im bitching because if Zeaos had actually a good way to think about the contest he actually would receive the entry from the PM, he would check the entry to see if its following the rules, if not he would have pm'd the member back and tell "Hey you must edit your entry because its not following the rules" than the problem would be solved but no, now in the KOTH#5 that is live atm there is the same typo shit, 2nd time the same rule to be broken. WTF!?

1- The mods are not forcing the members to follow the rules, they are too friendly
2- members are making fun of the mods by breaking the rules because they know the mods are friendly enough to let a typo rule to be skipped.

A mod should think about every problems he can face while hosting an event which Zeaos failed at doing that.
But finally ChewBecca have the full control of the whole contest and she's going to change the way of this contest, imo the contest should be wiped again so everyone could get a fair win, and please, don't come with the argument that this is not gonna happen for the reason of the time spent of the designer to turn into a waste of time because its not, a designer will never be wasting time doing a sign a wallpaper or w/e he makes, he is just improving own skills by making something.

But yeah do w/e you think is the best. thats my opinion i just ask you to accept because its my view and im not changing it.

I know that mental does w/e he wants thats why i said to do w/e he thinks the best. and yeah Zeaos got banned and demoted for some reason that i don't know. and i used this thread to write what i just wrote because i saw a link between the 2 issues, since I've reported the rules being broken and nothing happened. making it unfair to the members who are joining the KOTH contest.

but yeah i think im just wasting my time trying to make some contest's rules being followed strictly. But yeah i just see this unfair

The excuse has been used since before you registered and probably since before I registered, but I have seen it a lot lately in response to questions similar to Ron's.

I agree mods do have lives (although most don't and we all know), but logging on at least once a day to check their respective sections should be required. Some of the threads are two or three days old, meaning they were either missed by a mod relying on reports or by a mod who simply did not do their job.
