I didn't mean to start a huge discussion. My goal of this thread was to get topic moderation reinstated. The quality of the advertisments have really dropped.

Don't use the "mods have lives" excuse. Its bullshit. Dont apply to be a mod if you cant check your section three times a week at the minimum. A lot of threads in the ads have been there for over a week without being deleted. In other cases, threads do not follow the section rules. "You must have images in your thread" doesnt apply to half the flyff threads, yet none of them are corrected.

Reinstate thread moderation and give the mods who "dont have the time to be a mod" a quick place to moderate threads before they get out of control. Dont give mods more sections if they cant take care of the ones they already have.

I've been a mod and resigned from being a mod twice in the past and did a damn good job in all my sections. In most cases the rules I made are still being followed, including team recruitment. If I wanted to be a mod again I'd just ask, smartass.

Considering this thread and more specifically this post I think not. Times have changed, move on. You won't get moderator just by asking this I assure.

Your an ex-mod, you know all the protocol and rules so I don't understand why you made a thread like this when you know all moderator problems go STRAIGHT to super moderators. Stop abusing the fact that you were some "Damn good job" moderator past and using it as an excuse to beat down others and call out the staff team. Nobody is you, we don't no-life ragezone every day to please every members whim when it comes to threads. Moderators do more than visit 3-4 times a week but we still will NEVER be able to catch every single problem to hit the forum. Honestly don't expect to make a thread regarding moderators and expect nothing less than a clash of mighty opinions.

Good day or night or whatever. If you had time to link every one of those threads you had time to report them and if you can't use the report button don't complain. Common ragezone sense.

I'm closing this as the topic doesn't seem productive anymore.

I think your two main points have not been lost:

Although I'm not sure if the moderation will be reinstated, it is something we should look into.

    Thanks.
