Disable Mobile Skin

I don't know if it's just me, but I honestly can't stand the mobile skin. It lacks so many features, and is simply out dated. I could see if we had this skin four or five years ago, but most phones these days have a decent browser. For myself, I have an iPhone, and I would love to see the whole forum, and not the edited down version that the current mobile version offers.

Therefore I was wondering if you could do one of the following:
- Disable it all together.
- Disable it for all smart phones.
- Give us the option to switch over to the forums main skin.

Yeah, it is rather annoying. I'd prefer the option to switch between mobile and standard view.

I'd prefer to have it removed altogether really. I know it's there for mobile use, but for moderators who're sometimes able to come on now and then for whatever reason, they'll need to fulfil their duties but this skin doesn't come with these features. Worst comes to worst, just upgrade the mobile skin. There's plenty better ones out there.

I find it 'alright' but that is probs. Because I've only used rz mobile for a few days, I do support another skin

If you think about it, the fact that it's just a bit hard to click is really good compared to the loading times you can get on an iphone, even if your internet is super fast, your phone still doesn't load it super fast

I'd disagree with you there. My phone loads just as fast as my computer on Wi-Fi. Plus, if you're on a phone and surfing the web I'd imagine you'd have 3G coverage, which is just as fast for loading web pages.

Get an android, download Dolphin browser, use the desktop user agent.

Likely there will be some browser for the crap Apple make, or they just banned alternative browsers which I wouldn't put past them.

If your iPhone is Jailbroken you can also get the desktop user agent for that too.

might get an ipad, hopefully (it shouldnt) look like that, anyhow i have went on my psp and its normal, my phone has that look (to note my phone is a samsung tocco lite http://www.mobilephonereviews.org/uploads/Image/samsung%20tocco%20lite%20mobile%20phone.jpg and tbh, my phones browser is quite good so its a bit annoying with that plain list :(

Yeah and like everyone is going to buy some new decent phone with android, then use some alternative browser instead of the one they like, just to be able to browse RZ and all that because MentaL is lazy(or what?) to enable this "switch to normal / mobile view" button

Same goes for the theme though, I'd sooo like to use the default vB theme, but eh, we won't ever get the choice to switch to it.

iPad is using exactly the same browser as any iOS 3-4 devices, so yeah, you will most likely be bound to the mobile version.

I have heard you can install android on iphones, so that's probably your best bet.

As for a tick box, I don't think it's that simple. The mobile version is a skin that is auto selected when you access with any mobile device.
