I wanted to propose a new sub-section for Fiesta Online. A section for Showcases or Showoffs. In this section people will be able to show off their progress and what they've been able to create. I think this will encourage people to show their progress more and it will allow the community to share their ideas and as well as that I believe it will liven it up a bit.
There's a release section, isn't that like show case?
No, that's releasing files to the public, not showing them off. You'll probably get flamed if you try to show off in there lol.
Why would you want a showoff section? Thats like making a section for pictures of people eating icecream, but you can't have it. Sounds useless and only to feed peoples ego's.
Probably shouldn't bring this up, but there was something like this on KDev for the fiesta section and that quite frankly was a distaster. All it did was feed people's egos and cause major flaming in that section. This would normally like a good idea, like an art gallery of sorts. However the fiesta online community aren't really fans of fine art if you get my meaning.

Allow people to share their ideas and to show what they have developed. Gives people a place to show their ideas without getting flamed.
No need for a section for that? If they want to show what they have developed, they can release it. If they want to share ideas, I'm sure someone can open up a thread for ideas.
You're not familiar with the Fiesta section are you? Why is everyone so against a section? T.T
+1 to this idea, people in the Fiesta section are reluctant to release anything which would help others. Yes, there are a few people who would release stuff but its is like once in a month sort of thing. Showcase would be good for people to show off their creations but I think it could just be posted under development? Not sure. But I like the idea.
We already have a developement section, where people can showoff their work. Or am I missing out?
