I seriously agree with this post. Most mods infract for useless reasons, or are power hungry losers who wish to get mod to avenge against others. Like seriously, most of those applications that were set in were most likely fake, or were in a fantasy that the user who applied wished to live. Once given, they totally take control of the situation and turn everything upside down, also some mods wish to LEAVE some posts, then when the mod gets caught in something, the delete it, and move on. Members of course catch this, and say something about it, which the mods eagerly delete once again, probably giving a reason invalid.
Then again, my opinion stays on top of this post. Mods are power hungry.
I will have to say that i agree with this to some extent.
This is my opinion:
Mods are here to do their jobs as we know. Some mods are good at it some are bad as with everything in the world. I personally have experience in this in which i was banned for a week to calm down. This was because of an altercation i have had with a mod that a lot of people doesn't like due to lack of respect for others and doesn't do his job properly. This resulted in him hinting that i was poser in which i responded stfu. I realized i deserved the ban that i received for it. As they are not gods but they need to be given respect, but respect is a two way thing. You cant have gain respect unless it is given. When two new mods came to the Flyff section i thought one would be power hungry and the other i had never even read a post by. The one that i thought would be power hungry has done a brilliant job. But the other well lets just say a few people have had altercations with him. In future i would recommend just using the report section if you feel offended with what a mod says and not to retaliate.
In all honesty you should just shut it, sit in your corner and deal with it. You're a stroppy little user who thinks they're in the right and the mod's in the wrong. If all of you were in the right then the present moderators wouldn't be green. They've been given their green name for a reason, the senior staff believe they are the right people to make the right decisions. And the greater majority of the time, mods make the right decisions. I made one or two wee mistakes when I was green, not going to deny it. However your infraction was correct, so belt up.
And let me ask you this: why are you maoning over an infraction that lasts a mere 2 weeks? And why are you moaning about something on the internet? This doesn't affect you any way in real life so why start crying over spilled e-milk?
I was just stating my point of view with my experience. Which i have learned from. Its not that fact that it only last two weeks. In my situation it was that i felt the mod instigated the argument in which i got infracted for it which was annoying. I will agree with you on the moaning over the internet though. Its kind of pointless, but yet we all do it.
I Agree Completly, I was giving an infraction for making a "DEBATE" but apparently its not.
A Question is a question eh?
My Debate was: Should I Make A GFX Site?
My Infraction: This isn't a debate.
Like WTF go flame staff its all you're good for.
That's fair play, you take it up with one of the senior moderators and direct them to the thread, state your case and see what happens.
You really don't get it. Allow me to define what "debate" means...
The thread you posted was a simple question where the answer is yes or no. Asking people if you should make a website is not a debate. However asking people about what they think about serious topics such as the release of the Lockerbie Bomber, the war in Afghanistan or anything of that nature is a debate. Once again another fine example of the user thinking they're in the right when you actually aren't. Think, kid.Quote:

Be happy that you weren't banned for that. In my eyes, it's worth the infraction. See my crying about having a infraction? No.
So far the mods I've seen infracting people for their joy are already de-moded or resigned.
They are more to warn you up so you won't get reply's such as "lol fag".
Deal with it.
/thread
From all the infractions I give out the most typical responses are:
65% - it's unfair and that it should be removed (like Funshine here)
32% - "/care" style of response
3% - "Fair enough, my bad" style of response
People need to read the rules before complaining since it's obvious they don't make any effort to do so even after they have been infracted since they just b*tch and moan at the moderator/make new threads like this etc...
I'm thinking that I may start to infract these users each time until they look at the forum Rules and see what they are supposed to do about "unfair" infractions.
