We would have a section that would be dead. There isn't much app development, if you can find evidence that there is lots of app development then it might become a section.

I second this. The area wouldn't need development, how it could be with a help area, releases area, TUT area, discussion area.. Put IOS and Android together. I reckon it could be active, not highly active, but fairly. I know I'd be lurking in it for one.
