Simply, Maple was a lot easier to code. The game's code is quite different, making it easier. You can't just go simply OH HEY LET ME MAKE A PRIVATE SERVER, it takes time coding and possible ripping from Nexon. Maples Source Code was ripped by someone from BMS. Dungeon Fighter Online is no longer in service in NA, making files a lot harder to get. The lack of interest in the game also can lead people to not want to put in the large amount of time and effort it would take.
So that's why not, don't be an idiot.
