    Infractions Public?

    Hello,

I'm wondering if it would be possible to make Infractions Public It's very simple as to why I think they should be made public:-
The idea of Infractions becoming public is so you can view infractions given to users and learn what NOT to do. Clever people will very quickly pick up on the rules using this section.

I think there is already infractions public. I viewed my profile when I had one and a tab appeared named 'Infractions'.

No one needs to know what infractions another person has had. Luke is right, but the Infractions tab can only be seen by yourself and moderators.

Another thing is you should know what not to do, there's something called rules.

I mean like a section where infractions are automatically posted.

It would also be useful to know what particular members of the Forum are like. It's only a suggestion Luke nothing more.

It's none of your business what other people have been infracted for.

But you can see what they're like, look at how they post, where they post, how they react to feedback, wether it be positive or negative. The idea won't be taken into consideration I can be pretty certain.

Well it's not really, if they receive an infraction they're not necessarily a bad person or always going to act how they did for whatever reason they got the infraction for, e.g; swearing, hate, etc.

To be honest, I agree with Luke. You can tell how a person is by looking at their previous posts... However Hejula, there was no need to 'chew his ass' about a suggestion.

If everyone followed the rules then there would be no point in having moderators.

Do you judge people by their past?

one thing u should all know its , u dont get infraction only if u avoid the rules , there are some badass mods who give infractions for really stupid reasons :)

but well the idea its good but not that enuff , noone should know why and so ,, if u know many reasons , then u will know with who ur talking/checkin out etc . and most of people like to be anonymous .

I second that, some of the moderators gives pathetic and pointless infractions, which is one of the reasons I don't really post a lot anymore. If someone who you 'socialize' with is a total ass, you'll know not to talk to them again. But you can't exactly find everything out about a person because of their infractions, you just have to get to know them as a person.

    Re: Infractions Public?

Like how I received an infraction for not liking a moderators guide and i said amazing guide thanks?
Anyway don't think people really need to know what you done in the past for them to 'bring it up' again.

ALSO: It is the only infraction i have gotten.
