! My clear point regarding the "Hard Delete" option.

I only suggested that all users must have an ability to hard delete visitors messages made on their own profile. If someone spams my profile, I have no choice but to soft delete them and it all looks bad. I'm not talking about it to be a moderator's power or something.

Just the ability to hard delete visitor messages on our own profiles. Is it possible to have such a thing?

Crash, I'm sorry for re-creating this but I just wanted to make my point clear. This is nothing related to a moderator's power.

As far as I know none but moderators can see that "Message deleted by _____" anyway, so what is that bad looking thing about it?

And it IS related to mod's power, as ability to delete messages on EVERYONE's profile is BOUND with mod powers, thus allowing hard delete would give ALL mods to hard delete EVERY message.

I'm not. Well partly, mods and YOU can see your own deleted messages, but none else.

He gets it, but there's no point for it.

Phoenix's argument is that it looks bad. Yet, only mods can see the "Message deleted by ______" And no one else can.

And you don't get why the hell it simply CAN NOT be done and why it's even useless.

Problem is it looks bad when one soft deletes and you can see the "xx has deleted whatever" message. Point is only mods and yourself can see it on your wall. So, problem solved.

    Maybe I wasn't clear, No.

There is multiple reasons but the main one is that it's directly tied to moderator powers for mods.

Only Mental/Exy and Supers have the ability to Hard Delete anything and that is the way it will stay from what I've seen.
Hell, for a couple of years only Mental and Exy+possibly Kaoii(showing how long ago it was) had the power to Hard Delete.

So I'll repeat again, Mods will never be allowed to Hard Delete anything.

    Crash

Actually none of us have the power to hard delete, i specifically removed it from the queries, dbs and the phrases.
