Dev sections, code snippets and what not aren't actually sold. People aren't paid to code.
Marketplace, well thats just a different place. That is selling specific items.

Surely people could just post code etc in the merchant section though? If they really wanted to sell it...but I would imagine most people wouldn't bother and just carry on posting in Coder's paradise.
That's a possibility.
We don't have to introduce a whole new section. A sub-section would do.
Well I guess this wont pass. Anyway I got ragelancer.com domain.
@dan: if you ever need it just PM me and I will transfer it to you.
Sorry for bumping old thread, but idea is still up.
If Dan OKs idea then I have domain and script ready for ragelancers
Not bad Idea, but If this idea would be approved, Wouldnt it be better of having it on like lance.ragezone.com or sth? So on main page, that flash would say: Lance | Forum | IRC | Topsites (:
You have my vote for subsection into merchant for freelance work.
I would even be willing to pay rz/Dan for the service if it looks like a good way to advertise myself and my services.
However, most people are here because they want to play a game for "free" and are not looking to pay so who knows how well it would work =p
I may make me a little topic now for myself in the merchant section...
I like it. It should be like, you post in the Team Recruitment section, if the thread is approved it goes to the Ragelancer database.
As stated earlier, why?
Rules could be adjusted in team recruitment to allow it, or even sell your service in the merch.
If you are actually good at what you do, your name will get out there and you'll get enough jobs.
Better idea, is to have subsection in Buy/Sell called "Services". So if you need something coded for $, you go and post a thread in Buy -> Services, and If you want to code stuff for $, you post a thread in Sell -> Services.
(:
Yea, sigh..
I agree with Error 404. Voted yes.
