Lol right, some hold a grudge for ages and just feel like trolling most of the time. Theres votes going on now, did you notice how people follow the crowed with some votes? just imagine adding negative rep in some sort for people to hand out.

I like the like system more. The rep system will just cause fights with the negative way of doing it.

You just need one hater to spam it. Although if it does have a limit, why not? I mean if you feel someone is raping the neg rep every day you can report him, that's what mods are for.

I'm all for the rep system, It was funny before when Genryu and Allocura had the most negative rep, Who really cares anyway if you get negative rep? if someone spams you with it I'm sure if its not from the same person they're aren't just trolling with you maybe you're just unliked in general lol, Or the fact is you can suck it up and laugh about it, Wear the neg rep in pride

    Re: Reputation

It seems like the Reputation system has been added.
The only reason for me is why? We already have the "like" function. Why do we need two different things that do the exact same thing?
I'm now not sure if I should "like" a post or Rep+ a post.

So I think one of them has to go away, because it doesn't make much sense to have both of these features.

sometimes a post is amusing so you'll like it, sometimes a post is just retarded and needs to be -repped but sometimes there could be something just fantastic that deserves a REP or even a like too! It's only a trial.

I hope it gets removed. It'll cause more problems then good. People will abuse it, that's a fact. People will negative rep some one just because they don't like said person, or feel butt-hurt. And the way the current system is(by what I can tell), just 1-2 negative reps and your rep power is non existent. Won't be long before everyone but vets have positive rep.
There's a like button. It does the exact same thing.

    Re: Reputation

It's worse than I taught it would be, some people get reputation systems for nothing, because they made a funny comment or something, but helpful people such as s-p-n had nothing. Reputation points needs to be fairly given, however members of this forum tend to not give a shit about what's fair around here.
Anyway that's fully my personal opinion, perhaps I'm just tripping.

I believe I said that in a nut shell when I said this forum tends to have more immature than mature members.

Yes. I see now and realize that there is no need at all to actually have the whole reputation system due to us being lucky enough to actually have a like system anyway and now that you've said it, allot of people are giving reputation aswell as likes to the same posts when quite frankly some posts don't need the praise, some people might even abuse it by giving themselves reputation which I think is quite stupid.

    Re: Reputation

Not to mention people who have been here since the get go have double digit rep power. Which means they could neg rep some one and put them so far in the neg they'd never get back positive no matter how many times they get upped.

    Re: Reputation

Hmm, I always asked myself why people say there is a possibility to give negative rep. I noticed that I'm not allowed. Only can use "I approve". And in the thread it says, that you're allowed to + or - Rep when you have at least 5 posts. But I have 43 as of now.
