A lot of bumping does go on in the Gunz section but every single bumped thread is taken care of. If users don't read the rules before making posts, they're at a loss. Just send a report if you come across any such threads and they'll be dealt with.

I don't see how this would work with development threads, etc, where the OP NEEDS to update their thread, gradually. And when some developments take months, asking for a moderator or senior member of staff to unlock the thread every 3 weeks or so, is just unnecessary.
Even if we were to have a configurable auto-lock feature, like Phoenix said, if a nub bumps the thread (particularly with useless shit), you can simply report it.
Sorry if some of what I said re-iterated other's opinions, everything I wrote was my opinion.
^^
Isn't locking threads part of a moderator's job?
I don't see why it needs to be automated
Some of our old threads are not supposed to be locked if someone were to add something, as a few of our stickies in the FlyFF section. Would be rather annoying if they got locked without us knowing.
Mkey, well i've been always reporting the bumper posts and keep doing that than, thanks for informing more about this situation.
/Close Request ^^
Lol, It's funny that I still have to see these kind of threads. :P
Yes it does? It alerts the entire staff team of a problem so I don't see how it wont help solve a problem.
