    Translation options for non-english text

    Basically, it could be something like on Facebook.
    For example, in a post, there contains non-English text (Russian, Japanese, Malay for example)
    There could be this "See Translation" button which when clicked, will create a copy of the post and translate all non-English text into English and then put this translated block of text below the original post.

    Forum Rules rule 19;
    1. This forum is English; you must either post in English or create an accurate translation. If a staff member suspects the translation is inaccurate your entire post may be deleted.

    Or you could turn Russian and be all like "В советской России RaGEZONE запрещает MentaL".

    Translation: In Soviet Russia RaGEZONE bans MentaL.

    I don't think this would be a good idea, our community would split in groups which is always bad at any case

    What about just an option for users to be able to read it in their language but they have to reply in English? O-o

    Well, all i thought was that it will allow those who cant install much helpful stuffs on their devices (like me, im usually on using my phone to browse the web, the browsers available on my phone dont really do much. they like to lag a lot though.) to be able to understand a piece of nonenglish text without having to copy and paste it into a translation engine.

    As posted already, use Chrome. It has this built in to the browser.

    Well a mobile phone is more mobile (hence its name), so people can bring it and access the web anywhere with greater mobility. i mean i dont really see people listening to music from their laptops when they jog but i often do see them listening to music from their mobile phones. And do you often see people carry their laptops to dinner? Well i don't really see people munching on their burgers or fries in Mac Donalds with a laptop in front of them but if you're talking about phones it's a lot more common.

    No, i'm not starting a debate here or to vomit out my problems or anything. All im saying is that the functionality can be added to ease translation.

    Plain and simple. They should follow the rules. This is an english forum, so english should be used. If they cant post in english get it all translated.
