Heh. Actually, it's like 27GB for the log file. No idea why you didn't just delete it before sending this out. Thats the first thing I did, the DB it's self as only slightly larger then the ep2 db.

So look, once you restore the db, take it offline/detach, go find the log file (you can't miss it, it's huge) delete it and then re-attach the db (deleting the log file from there as well). Then you'll have a db minus the bloat.

Also, I notice that several of the .cfg files needed for the fieldserver are not present.. Ie, slotmachine.cfg, etc. Maybe they are not needed since this was a dev/test server? Or maybe we need to create these config's to get fieldserver running.

I'm going to let this rest for a while since between the empty DB and missing files it seems it would be easier working on the existing server files and getting ep3 content into that.

I never looked, but can someone confirm that the DB at least has all the stored proc's needed? Or where those deleted to? I forgot to look.

no this db has NOT all the needet Stored Prozedures. ill dont use this only new items inside with wrong itemids adn stats and a handfull useless stor.prozedures.

I tried merging the ep3 release by filter with meha's. It gives me errors on ep3 missions I believe while checking with the questloader. So I copied my quest.tex from ar(1.0.0.45) and the ep3 fieldserver started for the first time.

But now I got no proper client cause ar client is identified as invalid protocol.

Also whats the progress on the map editor you were working on meha?

You better release your ep3 db(not ur latest 3.2 cause you put hard work into making it and so it would be unfair)since everybody is running into dead ends...

Try using Suba client. That ep3 upgrade we are all trying to get working was for them. Nice job getting it running, I haven't had much of a chance to look at why I can't get past the config errors.

1. Import the database provided above: atum2_db_account
2. Import all the .xls files data into atum2_db_account
3. SERVER002\Database\000_Main => import queries int atum2_db_1 ( atum_2_create_table.sql, atum_3_create_view.sql, atum_4_log_create_tables.sql, atum_5_stored_procedures.sql )
4. Make sure your settings are correct
5. Execute at least PreServer.exe, LogServer.exe, IMServer.exe, FieldServer.exe, NPCServer.exe
6. Get decent client files to connect to your server.

Thank you for the info but I am not a AO Guru so plz tell me which version of the client that you are referring to as decent client (ver 2.X.X.X) or is flysis enough?

I'm going to post a repack sorta thing that will let even the simplest minds setup a server without much thought.
