These optimisations will speed up loading times and performance of the game.
Figured I'd share.
Res-Map
400-600 megs down to ~160. No noticeable difference in texture quality.
To install, unzip into your Res-Map directory.

Interface.tex
~50 MB down to ~15. Decent performance increase for some.

I'm not exactly sure who to credit.
Due to the suba nickname changing, I really have no idea who is who.
It's a mode made by ZeroSama, so all credit goes to him.
These are unmodded files, I thought zero did the mods, and tim reduced?

Since we're obviously beating around the bush here..
His first mod to the public was reducing the existing file sizes and additionally removing the game music for himself.
That by itself was done by him, end of story.
You obviously have not looked at these files.
After zero did that, and made custom mods, I'm pretty sure Tim started to mess with files and see that massang hadn't compressed them AT ALL, so the files were reduced in quality and compressed better, and are still the files they are in normal clients, but run smoother, and take up less space.
I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure I'm not.
