[Release] new editor Jade Editor

Hi guys I made an editor for editing data files

Supports read and write of:

• aipolicy.data (only changing broadcast messages)
• elements.data (can change only some stuff)
• gshop.data
• npcgen.data
• path.data
• zhuxian_question.data

More to come. For now please try out/test report bugs here please.

This is a relatively new program, and as such it may not be 100% perfect, so it's always a good idea to backup files when saving data.

You will need .NET Framework 4.0 if you do not already have.

Current version: 0.8 (2011-04-17) [minor update & bug fix]

Very nice tool. I had a quick look at the tool and it looks great.

Any plans to support task (quest) and aipolicy?

Pretty cool, I've tested it out, no viruses picked up.

If you want this to be a full tool, you should try to include: elements, tasks, gshop and aipolicy editors as well. All of these are needed to edit out chinese names and such. The community would thank you a lot if you could release such an editor.

Edit:Well Gshop always become bugged after use your editer!

Can you describe in what way the gshop is bugged? For example, does the gamed on the server fail to run? Or is it something like.. when you try to buy an item it does not work?

The debug mode .. if you run the program from a command prompt, or you can make a .bat file in the same directory that contains:

JadeEditor.exe --debug

And run that to start in debug mode.

Hi Guys I was wondering if I could get a bit of feedback if you guys use the new feature "global elements" in the preferences.. if you receive an error that you are using an unsupported version could you please send me a private message [click here] with which version of element it says you are using, if anybody is using a version that I am not supporting please let me know.
