Ypu can run it on almost any os if dont care about realms I had it runnung on centos 6.4 64bit just fine so should work on any dedicated linux
You have dedicated running what os? Vmware doesnr run ON linux vmwate runs on its own os esxi on dedicated
Virtual box will run fine on linux os def does on centos 6.4

Is it possible to just extract working root for the game to dedicated server and have it work like that?
Because with this release.. I cant ever connect because of serer network error on my dedicated while in vmwarre it works fine.... and I config the config files "config.sh" and "table.xml" to my dedicated password... but still not working at all so cn someone please help me and let me know why?

Ok aftwr days fixing and tweaking interserver on localhost I will give ypu some info.
On a licalhost environment got it working flawlessly
On a live environment using same ip and port fording it will only tp u in then gets confused or taking you out then back to same host
So best way to get it working is to put interserver on its own machine or own vm with its own ip and heafaches solved
If you are running like on a pc with vmware or vbox workstation type virtualizatiom then you should be able to seperate the two and thus giving each its own private ip (havent tested that yet will probably tomorrow)

If on a full dedicated only and wasnt smart enougj to virtualize your dedicated then if you know what doing you could put domains on seperate ips and direct the domains to the 2 diff servers should also work
Nest scenario is to port interserver on localhost or private ip if only want interserver for you server so elysium and crystal rift which keeps that losd balancer server nonpublic and makes it completely secure which later if wanted to do interserver wars would be to easily add public ip and open access for the participating servers but even then id open it ONLY for that server im the firewalls for security reasons

Best setup on a dedicated I found doing this 7 years now gaming is to get esxi loafed on it then make vm for hame one vm for interserver and then third for all apache and mysql
If add anothdr game tjen make vm for that but only need one apache mysql vm server for everything and tjat one of course needs the best security, the game ones only need 1 port opened to world the game port ie 29000 or whatever made it
On the mysql apache server only port 80 needs opened and on that you dhould install the appropiate security such as flood protection on the apache port and synflood protection on the mysql also even though its not open to world
Id hope most would know this already if running live production servers but some may not and hope this helps u out

2. Set up a Linux swap area with:

4. The last thing – add the new swap file to /etc/fstab:
# nano /etc/fstab

This way it will be loaded automatically on boot.
