How to Find Servername and Username for SQL 2005 Login

right i am using SQL 2005
wen loggin into the data manager it asks for
SERVERNAME and USERNAME

how do i find wat these are as i have tried several times to try login to my server but fails each time:grr:

Re-install SQL, and when you re-install it make sure you write down your details to enable you to logg into SQL
