Please Read This

Ok, now i have your attention please read the following,

for starters, read the updates.doc file in the updates, td and i and few others have siad this so many times in our posts, so please do it before you ask questions

if you have an error that comes up on your m2server, ingame or what ever, look at it, what is it telling you? is there something missing? is there something in the wrong cords? after looking at the error, and u think u know what it is asking for or saying try and sort it yourself,
if you cannot get it corrected, have you checked the updates.doc?
still nothing, then search the forum, there are so many duplicate threads, coz people cannot search, if after then you cannot find out what the error is, ask one of us, we will help you no problem,

Perhaps keep on posting a fully functional set of files for people.
Surely that would just reduce the questions anyway?

I know its very simple to setup but others dont think the same.

thats what the updates do, they are fully functioning files tbh, thats y they updates to work out bugs, the files are fine, tbh we not spoon feeding them i worked to get my files this way and so has ev1 else that can be bothered,

the area most people have problems with is setting up MSSQL and getting the files in,, but most problems that arise have already been covered in previous posts.. you can not upload a fully working sql install. everything else is preety similar like 1.9 servers.

if people can't even setup sql, what hope do they have of changing fields etc, within sql.

Stick to 1.9 servers if you can't handle SQL

thasnk you guys i am glad some people agree with me, ok tbh if use are finding it hard to get the files running i will make a set of server files, with database, BUT, use will have 2 work on them. they will be most basic, hell, ill even post a copy of sql, the db will have everything thats needed to be done to them, only thing is you will have to add your own items magic mobs maps etc to them..... i will have the files all setup to 127.0.0.1 server name is test and directory path is C:\MirServer\

remember the databases have no entries you have to put ur own items etc in them and the files are basic setup no mob drops no maps etc ull have 2 put ur own in too, im sure use can manage this, if you get an error on the server its on ur behalf nothin to do with the files

tbh i did find setting up mssql quite hard but when i found out the answer i smacked myself round my head cus they wer so easy u found mssql hard just w8 till uve got the game itself 2 sort now thats a problem

tbh i personally think that the mssql side is the easiest, coz everything is right there in 1 area all u have to do is look tbh
