To whom it may concern:
Hello,
It's me, again! Most of you know who I am, I think. For those who don’t, my name is Cameron and I’ve been a mostly active user on RZ for 7 years now -- wow! That’s a long time. Add 13 years to that and that’s 20 years. I noticed a thread while checking out the Allods section that it needs a moderator. I’ve been a moderator on here before, and would like to give it a go again! I know the ropes for the most part, as I’ve been both an evolution mod and an MMO mod before. I’m a fast learner, so anything I don’t know, I can pick up pretty easily.
Let’s get to the application!
Name: Cameron
Age: 21
Active: 7 years
Strengths: Moderator experience, long-time active user, friendly, mature, diligent
Weaknesses: Poor performance in the past
How do you spend your time on the forums?
When I joined in 2008, I was all about MapleStory and the private servers. I was annoying, young, and immature, and I probably pissed a lot of people off. As the years went by, I learned the dynamic of the forum and started to talk to people more and contribute more, instead of leeching. I quickly became friends with some users that I still consider close online friends, even 7 years later. We’ve all had good times, whether it be skype sessions, creating ironic forum groups, or just chatting in the various Spamzilla threads. I seriously wouldn’t change anything about the 7 years I’ve been on this forum -- here’s to 7 more!
Why do you want to be a moderator?
The first time I moderated for RZ, I didn’t know what to expect. I was new to forums, really. After some coaching and training from fellow staff, I quickly learned the ropes. I’ve always been in favor of helping RZ and it’s contributers and users. To be apart of the community means a lot to me, and to be apart of the staff would be an honor. I’ve grown and matured since the last time I moderated, and would love to be able to prove that to the users and staff. I’d like to take my activity and experience and apply to a more important role.
Allods Familiarity
I played Allods for a year before I moved on. This was around two years ago, so I’m not sure what has changed and what hasn’t -- however, I’m willing to learn. I guarantee my investment in the game and in the section. Although, I won’t blatantly lie and say I know everything about the game and the private server community of Allods.
General Duties
My duty as a moderator is to provide for the community in any way I can. Improving the Allod’s section to create a more optimal experience for users is my top duty, and would serve it with joy. To help the community grow and prevent the rule-breakers from breaking rules is my intent!
Other jobs would be making sure that the members post in the correct sections and if anyone that violates the forum's general rule or code of conducts i.e pornography posting/pornographic signature(if signature are implemented or fixed)/advertising of other private servers would end up with infractions or bans.
If there are any other questions or info you may need, please inquire!
Regards,
Cameron
