[Discussion] How to start own private server?

Hello dear people of ragezone,I'd like to host my own drift city server but don't know anything particulary. I mean I do know how to controll my vps and things, but was never able to work with something of drift city's server files itself. I was watching this forums since two years or so. Every while I came here I found nothing! Please tell me there are files still flying around the internet.. If so, may someone help me out with that? :)Best regards,aleviqPS: I'm in general searching for nice old or even new games that are enoyable with friends. They should be hostable in the best case. :)

edit: I should have ment what kinda games we prefer why the selection of games in the most cases is not offered. We like open-world-,realistic-,shooter-,race-games.. whatever. I'm realizing that I'm describing gta in kind of a way :D
