Minecraft is about visuals and it's boring as hell basically.
Ok you build a small lodge with a door to keep you safe whilst rest of the time you gather food and mine for diamond, then what ? nothing...
Crafting is as simple and far-fetched as is, combat is somehow acceptable, but the game has 0 world interaction or anything to do basically besides placing blocks for an appearance.
Also, for a bunch of programmers they suck.
No way a 20mb folder should take up 500mb+ ram and an entire single core...

It's a good game, if you get bored then stop playing or go download some mods.

I think its a great game. Can be boring. Single player is really boring. But you can make the game fun. Use your mind and play in groups and move on to build more things. PVP can be fun on it. with fire arrows and enchantments etc :D
