Whats your Favorite mod in Minecraft?
I can't really decide, I like a bunch. If I had to pick it might be Better Dungeons or Millenaire.
Good choices. I like small change mods, not large, almost total-conversion ones. Vanilla with Sprinkles or Pams Harvest Craft or Wee Flowers? (I found that farming blue flowers for Lapis was a bit OP though... especially with mDyos Tinkers Construct XD) Multimine for sure. But also Pet Bat!
If I had to play just one mod, and a complete world changer, it would be Forgotten Nature. I like biome mods and things to add beauty. This mod has some ropey textures, but they're getting better. It has some unbalancing, but it's not too unbalanced. It isn't updated as regularly as I'd like, but people will say the same about RedPower or XyCraft. Few modders can keep up with the recent change rate.
There is also a mod I missed, and always wanted to play. Perhaps I should backdate MC to 1.2.5 and try an old copy. Fairy Factions! Aww, cute... but vicious! }:-)
Pams Harvest Craft is a good one. Forgotten Nature looks also looks good. I might give it a try tomorrow.
I too like the small mods. I like having small elements from different mods in my world, if that made sense. Mods that add different biomes are also fun. Nothing like spending a few hours exploring new landscapes and discovering new things.
If anyone's looking for that experience in a single mod, I'd recommend Project Zulu. It will add biome lore friendly mobs and various lore based traps and defences to your game all in one hit. In fact, taming that one around other mods is quite tricky. (which is why I prefer little mods... I forgot to mention Bibloicraft among those >.<)
I don't have a specfic mod what I prefer, I just usually like using packs with them combined, if I was to say what my favorite Mod pack was it would have to be Tekkit Classic. I just enjoy messing around when I have spare time to build a cool factory with lots of machines and etc :D
Have you played the default FTB pack? I'm just curious because I understand the draw of Tekkit, but they really are pretty shitty towards mod authors. Feed the Beast is essentially their response to that, and how they wanted such a pack to be made.
