    [WEB] Minecraft Player Skin Viewer

    Website is back online

    Hello Minecrafters,

Over the past few days i've been working on a Minecraft Skin project.

    The site:

    • Allows you to view the skin of any Minecraft player
    • Allows you to save their avatar or body
    • Allows you to download their skin and use it as you're own automatically!

Also, there is a top 10 request page so people can see who's popular

Am working on the site, but the main functionality is working. Also working on "Minecraft Image API"

That's an example of my skin.

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    Hope it's useful for some

Hey man, looks great :) I am currently working on a CMS in combination with a BukkitCraft server and im busy with the website atm. I was wondering how you were able to get the skins of the webz... Do you have a public source of this awesome script? I'd love to take a look! Anyways, keep up the great work!

It detects if a player exists by checking if their skin is on the Minecraft skin server, if the player exists, it is added to a database (there is an exception, I have not sanatized an input (silly me)).

I will add a few more features and fixes tomorrow.

He's explained where he pulls the skins from. His website contacts a server that stores data on the skins of all Minecraft players, fetches the data and displays it to you before updating its own database.

Re: [WEB] Minecraft Player Skin Viewer

Hello again, I was bored with the crappy javascript lesson in my class so I worked on my Minecraft site.

    I have redesigned:

The search box now uses AJAX and you can view players with similar name.

I have also improved code, the counter is more accurate and has been reset.

I also have a customisable function:

    Face:

URL: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
    ?u=aggenkeech -- u is username
&s=48 -- s is size (this must be an even number)
&d -- this will manually download the file

    Body:

URL: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
    ?u=aggenkeech -- u is username
&s=128 -- s is size (this must be an even number)
    &r=255 -- r is r value of rgb color (max 255, default 255)
    &g=0 -- g is g value of rgb color (max 255, default 255)
    &b=0 -- b is b value of rgb color (max 255, default 255)
    &a=0 -- alpha (max 127, default 127)

So this is fully customisable for your forum or website so you can make it blend in and not a horrible white block.

I will create a contact page later for people to submit feedback or report an error later today.
