    [Guide] Adding custom models

Theres no tutorial for this, so I'll make one.

This will explain you how to add custom models/materials to the game. For example, different looking blocks.

    Required:
    - Minecraft
    - WinRAR

    Step 1)
    Go to C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin

AppData is hidden folder normally. You can try typing that into the bar if you can't get into it.

(Where it says Käyttäjät means Users. My windows is in Finnish)

    Step 2)
You should now see this minecraft.jar.
Right click on it > Open with > WinRAR Archiever

Now you should see something like this.

    Step 3)
Now just drag your modified files into the WinRAR Archiever.
    Something like this should appear.

Press "OK" and the customized textures should now be in the game.
If not, you should try to relaunch your Minecraft.

Any questions? Feel free to ask.

This isn't model editing nor adding, misleading title.

I was kind of confused when reading it but it does go through the basics of how to add a texture into minecraft not so much of the editing part though.

Texture editing. Maybe because that's what it is not adding models.

"How to replace textures in Minecraft" sounds like a much more appropriate title. I suppose this is good for those that didn't know .jar files are just .zip files.
