Connecting to Server....please wait

i keep getting this error message ><

thats not an Error i don't think, thats just doing what it says its doing, connecting to the Server, i think you may have a EIserver.exe problem of somekind a port problem, or your Mir3/4.exe is rejecting the server. as you see when i get that message it says for a few seconds then goes onto the Notice Screen, then i press the tick etc. etc.

how do u connect to your server?
via lan? same pc? someone else's?
Firewall installed?
which server files u are using?
which client u use?

its most likely a wrong server.exe/client.exe combination or wrong ip settings

im trying to play on same PC as i run server
i have zonealarm firewall but i have shut it down atm
I using server files given in setup guide - MSRF ones i think
client i got from the EuropeFastLink in Ei chrons

does your client have a folder msrf in it?and do u use mir4.exe to run the game?

i got exact same problem now and i use mir4.exe and i also have a mrsf folder in there...
