Fully Updated MIR3 Server.exe

Here is my Server.exe - you need to re-hex it to change it for your needs. Here is a list of what needs changing.

Take out Reference to Liquidsilver - change to your own Server name.

TAO Gets 3 of each pets
Gold in Bag is 50 million
Storage is 50 items
Wizard Can Tame 5 pets
Sabuk Wall is 2 hours (war time only)
Refines Are instant
Exp already added after level 50 onwards (only exp - you still cannot GM yourself higher).
New Magic Still does not work - Sorry
Shops Save/Sabuk War Saves after reboot and port for Rungate is 5000
Hiting Bug is now Fixed (hurry)

EISERVER

If you upgrading form 2.9 MSRF - you need to make a directory inside MIR300 called :

MARKET

And inside thes you need the follwoing Directories:

market_prices
market_saved
market_upg

This allows the server to save the contents of the shops to the files inside there - so even after a reboot - all the things that get sold to shops will be there.

didnt saving shop items worked with 2.9 server.exe already if u created that dirs?

saving shops works with all exe's if you create the dirs (or modify the setting files to change the shop dirs :p)

do we have to Change these or did you change these?. because you say Change them, but then you have a list and it looks like you've already done them, so do you mean that you have changed these?

And do i need a new Setup.txt because its doing all the Map reading Blah blah, stuff, and do i need a new mir4.exe for this?,

What changes in this with the one v2004 u posted for download 1 month ago?

I hexed to spanish all the last eiserver and if not changes here or only 1 or 2 i can hex my eiserver translated. More easy than translate all again :S
And if is the same then i forgot this link :P

Right - the Changes are already Done *Hex's" - that means if you dont was TAO to have 3 pets etc then you need to re-hex it back to how you want - i was just tell you what i had hexed in myself.

As for Versions etc - I took a MIR3 Server, went through and translated it, then set about fixing bugs inside the program (such as Hitting bug etc). The reason I posted this was becuase there was a post askihng for a newer version that 2.9MSRF - all the link i think are dead on the various posts - so this is only for people who do not have a newer Server.exe really.

Only what i put above really - change rungate ini file to port 5000 (set at 5010 for MSRF), make them Directorys i said and away you go...

I atached a picture of the error I get when I try to run it. Not sure what else could be on that socket address.

try doing a NETSTAT /A to see what is using that socket - sound dodgy to me if something is bound to port 5000 (i think thats the port the server uses).

Ahh- http://www.linklogger.com/TCP5000.htm - see that Windows Universal plug and play service (UPNP). uses that - disable it and try again.

I have a suggestion - i used Windows 2000 Server Myself and SQL 2000 Enterprise - you dont seem to have any problems compared to running it on Windows XP Pro as i notice a few people who have my files are having problems with login gate etc crashing after a while and all osrts of other errors.

My Set up comprised of a machine running server 2000 as above and used another machine to play the game on - you get a lot less problems that way,

Put new eiserve.exe in
changed rungate to 5000
made market directories
server side loads up fine.

client side, connects fine upto character screen, but when go into game just get a black screen...

I am running on windows XP
Have disabled Upnp on both server and client, still black screen

then my server become "not ready 127.0.0.1" even gate 0 open. then i still can login & choose my char, but after start, screen goes blank.. black all.. please help me

How can i make it stay at rungate 5010 please.
It took me ages to get server setup via my router.

When I altered my rungate - mirgate.ini to 5000
eiserver just hangs :(

Oh strange, server has started after several attempts, but....
I log in ok etc but i have a black screen.

Does anyone have an idea why please ?
