mir3.exe - client file1??

i get this problem.... when i go ingame select character and "enter game" BANG! black screen... as far as i know its suppose to login to the game :/ can i get some help on this plz... the eiserver.exe also gives me this clietnfile1 thing says i should check it i did 100times dont get whats its telling me

You dont have most of the server set up so that chances of you connecting are slim to none, as per another post I made, grab my guide with pictures and you will soon have a running server..

ok lol, i think its all done now, i found out i forgot to set password in !setup.txt it was on 'sapass'

ok lol the eiserver cant find about 10maps now after that it ask me if i wanna exit then i click 'no' still same problem it points at something clientfile1 i checked the guide cant see what i didnt do,

sum1 said i didnt setup the IPs in the ODBC correct, the guide didnt tell anything about IPs is this true?

You need to either edit the map info and remove the maps or go find the maps (there in the client) and copy them to the server...

hey, thanks it worked i found the maps in the serverfile thinggy and copied them over now it looks good n all im using the Olymp client and when i press "enter" ofcourse i get "connecting to server please wait...

well i added the exe and the interface from the serverfile folder and now it seems to get past that blackscreen problem only problem there is that the interface is fked up so i cant enter game because its all messed up and i cant see where the 'ok' button is... here some screenshot you can see what i mean.. i added the MSRF interface

If you grabbed the Olypia files - i believe they have gone over to JOB server so the client will have th wrong files for def. Basically you need to find (from a old 2.9 server online) the right Gameinter file then you will see - You can always just press enter like but the rest will be screwed up anyhow.

i tried some diffrent ones didnt work so i tried the ones from illiusiondragon.net they worked but its all fine untill i press 'enter' and theres still a black background where i loads that msrf welcome title... i clicked enter button and all kind of other buttons... it wont login... so should i use those job serverfiles? if so where can i get them? are they just as easy to setup as the 2.9b ones?
