---------------TUTORIAL---------------


1. Put the executables from tools ("ad.exe","creature_data.exe","vmap_assembler.exe","vmap_extractor.exe","vmaps.bat") in your World of Warcraft folder (where is placed Wow.exe)


2. Execute "ad.exe", "creature_data.exe" and "vmaps.bat" in your World of warcraft folder


3. Copy the generated folders "dbc", "maps" and "vmaps" from your World of warcraft folder to the Arcbliz/Core folder


4. Set your realmlist (World of Warcraft\Data\enUS\realmlist.wtf) to access the localhost/lan/remote ip as:
set realmlist 127.0.0.1


5. Execute startserver.bat to start the server.


6. Execute shutdownserver.bat to stop the 4 processes of the server


****IMPORTANT: Execute shutdownserver.bat before starting startserver.bat if you have already started the server before

----C++ PART----

*Enabled LuaEngine instead of LuaBridge
*Changed "[ERR]" and "[BSC]" for debug logs as LOG_DETAIL("ERROR: ..."); and LOG_DETAIL("BASIC: ...");
This prevents seeing errors on the log, to see the errors, just increase the LogLevel on the world.conf
*Changed some erronic INSERT INTO by REPLACE INTO (by default, INSERT INTO give errors on existing entries, now this way is fixed)

Arcemu doesn't recognise world map state phasing, so the best way is to keep the phased npcs enabled (odd phase) in order to end all dk quests, that's what I did. Here

I keep getting stuck at the realmlist when I log in. I have set this up on different computer (local lan) so me & my wife can play. Anyways, the screen for the mysql says:
[Warning] IP address '192.168.10.105' could not be resolved: get name info<>returned error <code 1104>

I have looked and searched but all are related to playing on same computer as the server. Ive not done this in several yrs but Ive decided to try it again. Please refresh my tired old brain.

Keep getting an error when launching the server, says I am missing a dll (MSVCP100D.dll). I have installed the c++ distribution files but makes no difference.

Fixed, just downloaded the dll and copied it into SysWOW64

You shouldn't just use single libraries from full runtime libraries. You can run into further unknown function and missing libraries problems down the road with a lot of programs. At any case, you said you installed the redistributable, did you install the 2010 x86 redist or the x64?

The repack is compiled for x86, and I'm assuming you run 64-bit considering you threw it into SysWOW64, which contains all 32-bit libraries for x64 systems.

You may say what ever you have to say man, but I just can't trust you on your word that this is 100% working.
Maybe the server files are working 100% but not even the biggest Blizzlike private server has 100% working quests.

The targeted IPs can be configured editing the files in the "Core/configs" folder. The mysql port can be edited in the "Server/mysql/bin/my.cnf" file. Check also that the realmlist from the client is not the original one from blizzard (that sometimes gets restored when patching)
