    A good thing to develop

    Someone should develop..
A fucking cs pet that's not retarded as fuck.
Was playing my own server because I was bored.
Killed a monster. Sun Dropped. And I got one
Spot left. And then the dumbass pet picks up the
water card (d). Like what the fuck gala-net -.-?
I swear the sun was the closest thing to the pet
and it has to go far away to pick up all these
bullshit items that noone cares about.

I've suggested it many times on the official forums that pets should have a filter menu so you can decide what you want it to pick up.

    2% Cards
    3% Cards
    ~ 4% Cards
    D Cards
    C Cards
    ~ B Cards
    ~ SunStones
    ~ MoonStones
    ~ Weapons
    ~ Armor
    ~ Food
    ~ MP
    FP

It can't be that hard to do.

So true. Pathetic how much they're blinded by money.

Funny thing is, if they stopped caring about money and made the game more fun, they'd make more money. I used to spend a lot on eflyff, before it got boring and just plain retarded.

Exactly, they just won't get it into their heads that spoonfeeding players an easy game. (I mean.. seriously.. what's the point in even leveling, you could AFK level without a care in the world these days.) Isn't gonna get them more money than if they were to make it better. Beta~v6 had such potential, then they made their first screwup, spoonfeeding players maxed buffs so it's easy to find an RM, pvp instantly became a little screwed up, etc. No work for stuff = boring. Skill spamming was annoying sometimes, but surely everyone misses it. Haha.

They won't get any better.. V16 will just be another 'Lets add more content and send around more desperate e-mails for our players back.' when really they should be like 'Okay so clearly this isn't working, we need to go back to how it used to be, when the game was unique, had potential and wasn't hopping on the bandwagon like every other MMO does.'

    But that's not gonna happen.

Yeah, pets are very crap made on the official files (atleast in v15 they automaticly respawn once out of range ...)

But it only checks if item is in range, then it will fetch it, and if more items are in range, it has an queue to pickup, no idea how it's assigned as if each item dropped has a unique drop id that the pet takes lowest first.
And since 2 items are in range, ie sun and card, and card was calculated to drop before the sun, it will have an unique id lower than the sun, which means the pet will continiously try to pickup that one first as long as it's in range, probably because it doesn't have to calculate range to each item each time it picks up something which will most likely increase cpu load.

v7 pissed me off because of that.

I spent all my time lvling my buffs to be maxed or nearly maxed (16-18) then all of a sudden all that work got fucked over. And good RMs were no longer unique. Everyone had max buffs.

Skill spamming also brought a LOT of the community together and made it to be an actual community. Everyone would gather at Burudengs/Lawolfs/Bangs/Clocks/Flaris Lode and etc and just spam and talk. Hell you could get 40-50 people in one area, looking back at it now it's just mind boggling. There isn't anywhere in flyff now where so many people gather. Hell there's so much rivalry in eFlyff now between guilds/race/region/age/maturity that it would be impossible to even consider having a real community.

the only timr you ever see more than 20 people in one place is in darkon where all the shops are or just before seige where veryone is waiting to enter, both of which aren't nothing like the skill spam days =/

Sadly that's about it when it comes to social gatherings. It's sad really what this game, and the internet in general has come to. So much rivalry is tearing this world apart slowly.
