Hell!!!! bring back the v6 skill system I love the noise T__T
V7 skill system makes flyff boring and in V6 skill system you can max your all your skills in early stage

what I remember in v6 sneaker is deffirent and all jester skills are working unlike now XD crucio reflection is higher rate then the blinkpool thing also

I suggest implement also v6 pk system and lvl gap

    Very Cool when it happen

I liked the PK bug/glitch for light blue name lol.

And it was definitely different when you had the 2nd exp bar that gives you skill points.

well I set up the files, unfortunately the file kiki supplied, a modified v6, is a little screwy on vista64. And I am having trouble closing it. It crashes after it closes. anyone with good disassembly skills should contact me to figure out what we can do to correct this problem.

question:glaphan you want to erase from rhisis project the points skill system and do the v6 skill system??
if yes its will be good if you do if someone want to make this v6 skill system change on worldserver.ini
    if yes or no
if yes its will use the old one(spam buffs, attack with skills)
if no its will use the new one(points system)

Glaphan said that i will work on C# file not on rhisis it's a new project he have.

Glaphan don't loose your time with a V6 client when you can do it with V11...ok you will not have progress bar but all the rest can be done serverside and you can create a Player command like :
.skillprogress "skill name" and send an hudmessage to give % before next level..if skill increase player will see it in skill windows and like i said everybody can create a progrss bar on a website. And each player can see in by login in user pannel after coosing his character.

Well you do what you want but it seem very simple to do by using our source.

Re: Back to basics. Something not done before....

That's definitely an awesome idea, I have to agree with everyone else on that. I myself have played since V1, unfortunately I wasn't in beta like BlackBox though, but not much a difference though still. And I have all the old quests printed off, as I was in the process of making one of the most complete information sources available at the time for eFlyff, but once they changed soooo much in V7, it pretty much ruined all I had done and I didn't have the time nor the motivation to start all over again on it. But I'll try to get those quest pages scanned if I can, and post them/a link to them if noone gets it done before me. And I also had a webpage with some drop information and other things posted, which I'm not sure if that would help any, although I doubt it.

But I'll post the link to that too just in case you can use any information off of it. Some of the listings are kind of crooked, but I never got to get them all straightened out, and it was my very first experience with a webpage so to speak, and I worked soooo hard making sure everything was aligned in notepad perfectly, then once I transferred to the website it was all screwy...I was sooo pissed lmao.. I even had the honor of Acruz (one of the first few GM's) posting in my guestbook. I hope you can use something from it though, let me know if so. It has everything from armor listings to monsters stats, and even item drop rates for that time.

This sounds like a great idea. I started playing flyff in v6 and, in my opinion, there has been very little done since then that has made the game better, and a lot that has made it worse. I think this would be awesome.

    YES, YES AND YES!
I used to have hours of fun while buff spamming near burudengs. Community there was awesome, we always had fun buffing nubs or just randomly talking..
And v6 pking was the reason I kept playing flyff back then.. Now i just visit it..
Do this and i'll love you in a non-gay way forever.

    Burudeng spamming <3

Occasionally went to lawolfs and bangs, and sometimes clocks but not as often as burudengs!

Re: Back to basics. Something not done before....

It seems the neuz kiki had doesn't work on vista or my machine for that matter. Until someone can help unpack the neuz and remove gg, which isn't a problem for disassemblers, then this project won't get very far.

looks like I need some help with that.

    ok.

here is the v6 install here http://cdn.gamezone.com/pub/gamezone...f_6thSetup.exe.

I have supplied the clients so people can work on them. http://rapidshare.com/files/230363658/v6NeuzClients.zip

I really want to get this project off the ground. call me nostalgic but I enjoyed the v6 stuff.

Re: Back to basics. Something not done before....

you know the systems are extremely simple to work in

im not sure how the pvp system worked in v6

but the skill leveling by use is hardly a challenge to code mabe a bit awkward from it being so long since v6 was so long ago but it shouldnt take much effort as createing Rhisis

I would sudjest useing Rhisis but it apears you have your mind mad up this may be my personal oppinion but I feal your makeing a mistake going with C#
