Blessed Flyff Making it Online
Hi Ragezone!
i'm sorry if i am posting a problem like this again, i know some of our fellow Ragezone members had the same problem and some has been solved. But some of the solutions that i see just didnt worked. So now i am respecfully asking for you help guys to make my server online so me and my friends can play together. I am Using Blessed Files. Rain Flyff as the Client.
Basically i've done all the necessary stuffs like to which ip's should i put into. I already portforward the ports 15400,23000,28000.
I already put my Public ip in Accountserver.ini and loginserver.ini "addcache"
And also in the neuzmsgproc and accountserver.cpp. I already change the lock neuz and lock account server to my public ip then recompile but it still not working. I cant even manage to log in into the game it always says "cannot connect". But when i put the ip like 127.0.0.1 i am able to play the game.
And one thing that i figured out in the Blessed flyff is that even you put any ip's in the accountserver.ini , loginserver.ini , neuz.exe , neuz.ini you can still log in to the game this happens when i use ip 127.0.0.1 in the lockneuz and lock account server.? Can someone clarify this to me? What should I do so me and my friends can play together.
Thank you in advance and i'm hoping someone or all of you guys can help me out! Cheers!

Re: Blessed Flyff Making it Online
First of all make sure that you open the ports inside the firewall
Then if you use an router do portforwarding.
Also use your Public ip adress and ask one of your friends if he is aible to login
If he can login and you cant login then the cause is rather simple as also is the solution
80% of the routers out there cant back forward what i mean is this
Your pc->router->internet<-router-<your pc
This lead to cannot connect error
So if you and your friends are willing to play
Then set all your things to public IP distribute the neuz to your friends
And change your neuz ip to 127.0.0.1 or to your internal ip address 192.*.*.* or 10.*.*.* etc
Then you should also be aible to connect.

Re: Blessed Flyff Making it Online
Hi! Thanks for the reply, i already manage to do that I already portforward the required ports as ive said, im also using a router. i even turn my firewall off. Yes i use my public ip but even me, i cant still connect. What im asking for is can you tell me what part of the files do i need to change the Ip's i am using Blessed Flyff files. And as far as ive known editing the ini's is useless if your using Blessed Flyff files?

Re: Blessed Flyff Making it Online
Did you change the Ip adress inside AccountServer.cpp?
strcpy( pServer->lpName, "BlessedV18");
strcpy( pServer->lpAddr, "127.0.0.1" ); // lock AccountServer
But like i said before.
If you can connect using localhost
Then the router cant do an back trace
I am also using blessed files and i dont have any troubles connecting
Using localhost for just me and public ip for the outsiders

Re: Blessed Flyff Making it Online
Yes I already change the ip in AccountServer.cpp and also in the NeuzMsgProc. And by the way if im using the ip 127.0.0.1 i can manage play the game but if i use my public ip theres no chance that i am able to play it.

Re: Blessed Flyff Making it Online
If you just need for you and your friends using hamachi would be better. You wouldn't have to worry about those port that way..
Or to test your your port forward is a success then check here wether it's correctly opened or not. http://www.canyouseeme.org/

Re: Blessed Flyff Making it Online
Hi xAkira thanks for you reply what i see in the canyouseeme.org is that ports 15400,23000,28000 are all open. Yes didnt try using a hamachi but do you think that i have no chances making my server online w/out hamachi? Thanks!

Re: Blessed Flyff Making it Online
I had tried the blessed files and successfully in making them online so there shouldn't be a problem with those files.
If the ports are open, then the only cause i can think of right now is whether you use the correct public ip or not on the client when you recompile them.
Though you might have already know this, we would need to double check, when you open http://www.canyouseeme.org/ the "your ip" is the ip you should be using .
Change the ip on account server and the client, recompile them.

Re: Blessed Flyff Making it Online
might not be the case. but you might want to check on your AccountServer.exe , Tool(T)>allow external connection.</p>
Also, can you post a screenshot of what it's saying when it doesn't connect?

Re: Blessed Flyff Making it Online
it's a problem with your IP then. If it's just for you and your friends using hamachi would already be enough. If you want to open a private server I would suggest getting a VPS or dedicated server which you wont have any problem with port forward and such.

Re: Blessed Flyff Making it Online
I got one question why does my friend cant connect to the server? He already joined me in the hamachi server. And i already give him the exact same client that i am using.?
---------
They already connected to the game seems like we just need to turn the firewall off :) Thanks xAkira!
