My problem is I can't let others connect to my server. I've done everything that was instructed to allow others to connect, but they get the same error message when trying to login. I've edited all of the .ini files and neuz to my ip and have successfully port forwarded. I'm running a v17 server. Is there something I'm missing? I've tried setting up a server twice now with the same result.
what was the error? try checking your accountserver.exe there should be menus in there.. go to Tool > select the Allow External Connection.. or something like that.
I have those allowed. The error message happens when they try to login saying "Cannot connect to the game. Please check your network." One thing I have noticed is when I look into the neuz.ini file there is no line for entering your ip address. Is there supposed to be? I've tried manually entering it myself, but it just disappears after running the client.
it depends on your source. did you open the neuz.exe with the reshack? the IP there should be your external IP not your local IP. well all of the inis should have your external IP..
Try this out:
Open your neuz.exe with the program resource hacker.exe and open up "string table/1/1042". When you are there look for the line " 1 " change that to your ip. (whatsmyip.org) compile script and save it.
If this didn't work there is a problem with your portforwarding or your loginserver.ini. May you take a screenshoot on your loginserver.ini?
i have the same thing going on i portforward 15400 23000 28000 i set the LoginServer.ini AddCache to my ( "IPv4" ); or do i set it to my router ip? and on the other computer i set the the same as my AddCache ip and port still not working and the server is running on windows 8
