btw even though it says flyff 2 it by no means is flyff v 2 its refering to a new core client...
as in our core client is flyff 1 rev 11 <- v 1 isnt considered a rev
theres is flyff 2 rev 2 <- same reason
hope that cleared things up if anyone was wondering

I have sniffed a few cFlyFF packets and found that the
Client connected to a Apache web server.
And than it connect to the server
The Patcher has an server.ini.
And it downloads at every start the server.ini from an link, wich is in the antoher ini
i changed all links an make my own server.ini (the struct is versy easy to understand).
The client directly connect to the Char Server...
if someone would make a server for cFlyFF he need a team and an Translator ^^

glaphan if you wana start working on a pserver do it on ether saga nor festia the new mmo perfect world got from the chinese they just translated it and there is no antihack or encrypted files atleast during closed beta there wasnt it was a awsome game !

I was fiddling around with the cFlyff files and I have got the client to connect to Glaphan's server files by changing the listening port to 9111 which is the port cFlyff connects to.
To make cFlyff connect to your server you have to remove the Server List data from update.ini. You also have to change the data in your server.ini so that it is like this:

Nini i know you feel amazing right now but you can get almost any login server to open any game the travia files will connect to FlyFF perfectly but you cant get very far >.> i can almost guarantee youll get a debugging error if you go past login
the world packet is by far a unique one so getting into cFlyFF is going to be a challenge.

But, cFlyff works very different from k-eFlyff... If you try to code things for a cFlyff server, you cant think in an eFlyff emulator, too much different.
I voted yes because anyway, it would be awesome. First of all, we need to code a .wlg (was that the extension) for unpacking the item packages and see how can we edit the client files before start coding the emu.
there is already a tool for extracting that extension.. however items are just id..like.. whitoutname.. so try to imagine what it would be identify each item :3

I would not mind more projects but I do have to say, do not start a project you cannot or wont finish.
Too much people get their hopes up, and one other day the project is dead (yes there is ALOT of those back in the days)...
Sure, if you get bored and want to quit, that's allright but DO put a dead tag on the thread and edit the content, because dead projects that looks like it's alive is killing this forum.
