Is there an easy way of enabling this or do you need to use some other Visual Studio tool to accomplish this?

I use a free one called Very Sleepy. It can profile any program, and has built-in options for command-line argument (e.g. sunkist)

I use the vs2010 one. vs2003 should have one too.
