Personally I've got absolutely no use for it, they can also spam as much as they like as I won't be able to answer their questions :P:.

So, you leave all the question to others to answer them? A whole chaos?
Re: [Early Development] Flyff Map Editor
Well I can't answer questions if I don't know the answers. Like I said in the first post, I've never played the game and everything I've done so far I've done from the ground up.

I hope he doesn't publicly release the source for his sanity. The binaries are all you need.
Re: [Early Development] Flyff Map Editor
I've been thinking about that actually, I'll probably just release the binaries and then allow people to request the source, that way I can know who's got it and make sure they deserve it/actually have use for it before hand.

good decision. Maybe that way you can control how many servers can actually will make new maps and probably will take the entire credit for making for themselves :glare:

Well yeh, I see, but this will screw up the whole game since everybody will start modding maps of each other for hacking purposes. Like going into secret area's of it. So i'd like to ask you, if you could release a version that does NOT support opening existing maps, just making one and saving them would be fine...
Re: [Early Development] Flyff Map Editor
Won't happen, sorry. It would defeat the purpose of a map editor and would also be a waste of time as it would just be bypassed within a few minutes.

Hi, personnaly i'd like to have the souce if it's possible. Cause i'd like to learn from how you have done this programm. Not for leeching purpose but really for learning.
Well,if you don't want it's not a problem ^^ do like you want. It's already a nice idea to give binaries to the community

I agree with divine on this one. He has contributed a lot to the C# open source emulator. He is no leecher. Same goes for myself. I have contributed alot of and a lot to open sources. I think when this is all said and done you should be able to weed out the leechers from the actual learners.

I second that Glaphan has been a huge help to the community and the same goes for devine
I would say myself but I havnt gotten to contribute anyhting yet but I hope il have a chance perhaps when me and my co dev have donw more debugung of the new files we will release a far more developed one than rhisis the other dev hasnt shown me the new source but he has worked out alot of new bugs and says he doesnt want me to waiste my time on it as it is... saying there are many errors and deficiancies in the Rhisis source (he praises me to the point it gets annoying when he says somthing like that...)
we had our source more developed than rhisis is now back in the time when they were useing glaphans origanal SVN so we were adding our stuff to your guy's files seeing as we hadent seperated the the char and login yet
but I must say glaphan you guys did a good job makeing it way more stable even more than our own but you should scan through the source and you will notice many errors and deficiancies (way too many)
id sudgest doing this yourself me and the other dev where skeptical about releaseing what we have
~sorry got a little off topic
