Re: [Early Development] Flyff Map Editor
you should better sell it...
Re: [Early Development] Flyff Map Editor
I don't do things like this for the money. It will also be a waste of time as it will just be leaked after the first few sales.

Well, you could always have it use serial keys. On purchase you could give the customer a key to match with his email on a database. Just set up on a centralized database on a website, and have your program run a check to the database when installing to look for the given key. And that would allow you to only let 1 key be used at any given time.
Could work :P
Re: [Early Development] Flyff Map Editor
And then just remove the check :P
Re: [Early Development] Flyff Map Editor
Majority of the people can crack it /ridicule

Re: [Early Development] Flyff Map Editor
If you are worried about people stealing it you could always go the web activation so people would have to register with you before they can even use it, otherwise they would be able to mess with it but couldn't save maps.
Kinda like how M$ Office does. You can crack them, but you still need to activate them which can be a bitch if you don't know what you are doing.

It can all easily be bypassed though.

Any updates on this so far?
Re: [Early Development] Flyff Map Editor
Just with reversing files mainly, got around 75% of the full structure done with .o3d, full .sfx structure is done, finished the structure for .dyo and I've been working on the format for that. Also worked on colour maps a fair bit more but it's still showing irritating transparent parts on the map.
