I understand now Rhisis Team and i think it sorry for the other "good guy" here but perhaps community don't deserve that good project fall in their hand..

So i don't say we will not release compiled and "protected" file later, i'd like to give a chance to people to play with our work, but for now i will close the source...

EDIT : Since they have discover that we decided to stop to be open source, waou strangely some "source : osaflyff" appear in their thread... But it's too late, you have to think before doing some stupid thing like this, don't think that because you are in a forum using another language, people can't goole it...

BlackGiant could tell you...When i have first speak with him i said this :

Thats one of the reasons we went closed source, because people can just take what we did and implement into they're server, while still working on it and say they made 80% of it and just a thanks to osAFlyFF lol :P

leave the code ? no we will continue to develop osaflyff, we have speak abvout it. That will turn into closed source like for Rhisis, we will release only the binary and only when we will put some protection on them.

So we will rename our project and close all our informations. I will continu to offer my helps to other developers like BBim, Duotone, Glaphan... It's stupid cause without source, people will not be able to add new functions to custom there server and all people will have the same...well not...WE will have some new stuff on OUR server...

I think for now closed sources are the way to go. When I released DragonSource I decided on hardcoding the mysql info on purpose so it would make it a lot harder to copy but people did it anyway by dasm'ing it.

I think all the developers need to stay in contact at one point or another. Release snippets of code so other people can get an idea. Sort of like how BBim did before for DragonFlyFF.

I know ProjectGlaphan is working off the OSA core but soon it might evolve into its own with a little remainder.

I don't think its Germans in general because I'm german blooded. however, I see all those people as the cesspool of leech, if you will. A Black Market for private servers and code. Lawless and anarchaic, they are not smart enough to leave credits to the original owner. Childish.

Take Mica for example. Everyone praises Mica for releasing Beast. LAUGH! All he/she did was "acquire" it from someone. Now everyone bows down like they are royalty. Do they not know that if it wasn't for deadly nothing would be what they would have about now. If it wasn't for Caali, no one would be anywhere. If it wasn't for Kiki, no one would have an open source to work off of.
