Re: Flyff Source Code (Password Protected)

I'd suggest people stop fighting and become a real community. And there are people that have the pass, and the few I know will not be sharing it unless things change and all (or at least most) of the flaming stops, and people become a community. *laugh* And that won't happen soon, knowing this forum.

As to proof of it, what can anyone consider proof other than the actual product these days. Code sniplets and screens are easily faked, so the only concrete proof is the real deal. And releasing that isn't acceptable under the conditions that this place has come to.

My only advice to people who want the pass, is to think outside of the box. Or in this case, the rumors. I've tried hinting it before only to be told off by the new mods, because apparently their oh so great sources are credible.

Well, it took 3 people and 4 machines 2 days to get the pass. You all could of had it eons ago if you all stopped sucking up to each other and tried things other than the rumors.

Anyways, I'm on vacation and have a busy day planned for tomorrow. Probably won't be back for another couple of days, if this I can even be patient enough for this slow internet to load again.

I wish cracking this files was as easy as deleting people's trolls.

    I will say this once.

If the community sucks, change it yourself. Writing out a big block of text explaining how the community sucks and blaming it on others is just spam. You are the community and only you have the power to change it.

With that said, please get back on topic about the password.

Not sure if this has any use at all, but this is the SHA-256 checksum of the archive. 7z uses a SHA-256 hash algorithm to create a AES-256 key, but I'm not very savvy about how encryption works.

Sadly to say Ragezone will never shake off the flame and all that is going on, that is why we (real developers) created a private forum to share knowledge and emulators on from now on. Everyone who is certified emulator developer can get access to it.

cracking the hash would take as long if not longer that brute forcing it anyhow, 7zip hashes the original password the hashses the reult again then its result again etc etc 262144 times from the origiona pass so you would need to brute the hash backwards 262144 many times to get the original password something which would take a while, i thought about this at first too until i found out how 7zip strengthens the key and it turend out to be no faster =/

Dell, maybe u should start changing it too, instead of banning some1 that just told you to stfu ;(
If ur a mod, act like a mod, and dont act childish, by banning some1 for really no reason.

    @ontopic
About the hash, isnt there any way to decryp it?

If you read the posts prior to this one, you would've known that 7-zip hashes the password very many times before it gets to its final state.

I think a super mod needs to clear something up for you so I'll ask them to do it.

Re: Flyff Source Code (Password Protected)

okay, so apparently we can't avoid the fact that every password we try must be encrypted so many times, with a lot of waste of time and resources

but the whole file or just the hash bytes are encrypted so hard?

if there is a hash someone could extract it and work just on it without buffering the entire archive

writing a program to manage the file instead of the while file should be alot simpler and faster

dell does not have the powers to ban. with that beeing said the person who was banned should of have gotten a note from the mod who banned him. Just refer to that.

got an issue with a mod? PM me!

Indeed, Supers are the ones who hand out bans =)

Users can technically be banned by mods but if it were to even get to that stage we would have stepped in anyway. (5 infraction points currently)

If you have a problem with someone then just goto the superior, do not start crap with that person since when you get infracted you only have yourself to blame also.

    Crash
