FLYFF v14 pserver work or not with hamachi?????

Hi all^^

first, i want to thank you (those who put the duides^^)

So, i have create a server ^^ and when i've tried to share it with my friend ( with hamahi) it dosn't work ( my friend can only create a character after this the game close)
So please can anyone help me?????

here what i've changed:

1. Fixing the Server Files to allow others to connect.
a. You'll need to go in to your Program Folder.
b. Open AccountServer.ini You'll need to change the IP in BOTH to your IP address. (To find your IP Address Go to WhatIsMyIp)
Code:

AddTail( -1, 1, "Test", "127.0.0.1", 0, 1, 0 );
AddTail( 1, 1, "Chan 1", "127.0.0.1", 1, 1, 600 );

To
Code:

AddTail( -1, 1, "Test", "YOUR IP ADDRESS", 0, 1, 0 );
AddTail( 1, 1, "Chan 1", "YOUR IP ADDRESS", 1, 1, 600 );

c. After that Save and Close.
d. Now Open loginserver.ini
e. THE ONLY IP YOU HAVE TO CHANGE IS AddCache( "127.0.0.1" );
Change it to your IP AddCache( "YOUR IP HERE" );
f. You're all done changing the server files, Next if your behind a router you'll need to forward ports.
Please Remember When you Run the AccountServer You'll need to Set it to Allow External Connections
g. To Do this, open AccountServer.exe In 'Tool(T)' Just make sure its Checked to Allow (Check this everytime you restart the server.)

what bliss is saying to you is bassicaly to open your ports of your router to let all players get in game without the hamachi shit

ah ok lol, but i can't do this beacause where i'm actually the port of my connexion are closed from the server, and it's for this that i want to us hamachi ( i've tested it on local and it don't work :s)

Hamachi works. People just don't recommend it since people that are looking to join private servers try to avoid the ones that require installing something, other than the server itself, ofc.

euhh just for info, i don't create the server to share it with many people it's just for me and 2 friends^^ but thx^^ i'll try to dwld another version of hamachi

or get your friends to your house make a lan conenction and play all in localhost xD

People who can not afford dedi, shouldnt be even thinking about private servers..

what does a dedi have to do with hosting? O.o
it only moderately reduces lag
i mean i hosted on my desktop and had 200+ people on constantly
never laged once

in truth it doesnt make a HUGE difference if you have a halfway decent computer say a cpu of 3ghz or more can support 50 people with no lag

you can also install windows server 2003-2008 on a normal computer too which reduces other things that i will remain silent about :3

The computer itself is fairly irrelevant. It's the connection speed you gotta worry about. Anything that's at least 2ghz and dual core with at least 2GB of ram is usable.

Alienware is way overrated... I built a computer with the same spec for over half the price wtf is that sh**?
Also as ryuchao009 stated its mainly connection based that causes lags. Large upload and lowest ping possible is best for hosting a server. Again with spec duel core and at least 2ghz ram
will do. More ram wont matter unless you are using a lot of memory so the more players will hog more ram, but will take a lot to lagg 100+ players on 2gb is fine. If you have 8gb ram and have 100 players whats the point cos you wont be using that much? Ram noobs these days. Processor speeds and cores is the main thing people should worry about on the hardware spec. Go to pc world they will recommend that you should have 4gb ram for a computer running vista... fail much?

i used to have that same problem, when select the char it just stay there and then closed the game rite?
but u can connect to the game and ur friends dont? or neither u cant?
all i did that remix05 helped me was, erase the "flyff.a" from the flyff folder and thats it, after 2 days with that same problem when i erase that file my friends and i was finally able to enter the game
i hope u have the exactly same problem so with that u and ur friends can connect but if not, well thats all i can say =P
oh and i use hamachi too so it works perfectly in v14 but the server i creat i dunno why but ppl with vista can't connect to my server, only ppl with xp =S win7 didnt test it so i dunno
