Can i suggest to you treachery in your work in v2 that can you add/change a pop-up box message after clicking REGISTER button in register page when account name is already exist.
Because even the account name is already exist, when i click register, there's a pop-up box message says Congratulations you can play bla bla bla with this account! but yeah it wouldn't register/put in database, but it confuse to the people right?
Also in putting email address. Even the email add is already registered, it can register in the account..

That's because your PHP version is 5.3.x and the eregi function used in FlyffStorm is depricated in 5.3.x.
If you downgrade to something less than 5.3.x, then this problem will go away.

Ok something happened. Our internet went out the other day and I had to reset all the ports.
Needless to say it fucked up the flyff storm. I had to re-install wamp firstly and I followed the guide on upgrading it and completed that step.
I deleted the database and executed the sql no problem.
when. I go to the install.php page I get these two errors

If I take out the folder config.php I just get the picture of SQL functions unchecked.
Yes I double checked the wamp everything is upgraded using the latest php extensions and the SQL database ran ok with no problems.
I followed through your guide again step by step. Twice by that i mean when it didn't work I DELETED everything again and re-did everything to make sure I didn't mess up.

I am using php 5.30 with the update 5.31 with the mssql.dll and the pdo.mssql.dll both checked and I get this error with all of the websites. I have even gone into the conf file of wamp and made sure that the ; was gone from the mssql.dll.
Is there any advise for this old man on how to fix the problem?

I've literally had it with wamp. I can get your website to work and everything, but I've just lost my patience for it.
I wanted to know if I were to upload your files to a webs.com account like I did for the patcher files, Would it work?
The pages for webs are all htm on the end. However the actual individual pages allow use of PHP inside of it.
So I copied the entire install page into a html applet. and I preview the paged. It worked sort of it displayed Every single part of the install process, It managed to connect to my database and make a config of sorts but just not working correctly.
I wanted to know is it worth trying to fix if it even is fixable?

Yeah, that's because it doesn't parse PHP. It's only HTML, so it'll show EVERYTHING on the page. Trust me, it won't work on Webs.com. PHP has to be run in a .php, .php3, or .phtml file to actually be parsed. As well, the server has to have PHP installed to run it.

[Setup]

There is one layout for this version of FlyffStorm, but there are five different color schemes for it. Original, Red, Blue, Purple, and Flyff (default scheme).

MSSQL Functions is not checked.
If you have MSSQL functions unchecked even if you enabled them, then you need to update your ntwdblib.dll in your PHP's install directory.

DB does not execute
If you have SQL Server 2008, you will have to do some modifications before executing the database.
First, create the "WEBSITE_DBF" database.
Open the sql file included in the release into SQL Management Studio, and chop off this part from the top:

Nothing looks like it's displaying correctly.
If everything is white with black font and what not, then you most likely do not have the FlyffStorm in the root directory. That is, immediately in the "www" or "htdocs" directory (depending on your server), but in some sort of directory within one of those (like "storm" or "flyff"). Move it to the main root and it should work like a charm.

This error also occurs on other pages, but the only way to fix this is to install a PHP less than 5.3.x. In versions 5.3 or later, PHP removed the function used for this.
Version 2+ of FlyffStorm will not support 5.3.x+ unless I can find a function to replace eregi.
Fatal error: Call to undefined function mssql_connect()... or MsSQL functions unchecked.
This is most likely because, even with MSSQL functions enabled, you do not have a valid version of "ntwdblib.dll" in your PHP bin. (Whether it be fore WAMP, XAMPP, Program Files > PHP, or IIS.)
You can resort to this guide by Error 404. (This guide can work for all servers, just as long as you know where the PHP bin is.)
