How far, Would you be willing to go to cheat in a private server?

One individual that goes by the name of nForce has actually presented him self publicly as gay in order to bypass my new anti-cheat system.

The below is a quote of a post I made recently replying to a thread he wrote about my anti-cheat system, I believe he either deleted this post out of embarrassment, disappointment or just cleaning things up.

Anyway let me know your opinion on this one I think it was a quite funny fucking joke and well worth my time.

There was no real "challenge" to it... I could have had a chimp with an stick do it.

I was kinda pissed at the fact my servers were crashing and figured I'd get a little payback so I guess there was a "challenge" but it was not brought to you.

It was brought to me coming up with a new 11 characters to match my new raged state perfectly, "nForceIsGay" fit nicely.

After coming up with such I got the gratification of seeing you actually get annoyed by it just as I would if I was attacking such a target it's all part of the game and I thank you for playing.

It's entertainment from the best two going back and fourth my friend... It wouldn't of been there if you weren't meant to see it as I knew you would ;).

Anyway, My challenge is completed....

Achievement Unlocked - 1000 Points
Get nForce to call him self gay publicly and actually have to type and or copy and paste this from memory into an application such as hex editor, ollydbg, or into his own application and a function to over write the salt in memory if not statically written.

Good game and thanks for playing... thanks for coming out of the closet to see your next release hopefully you wont be so willing to admit to your off-line fairy hobbies next time explains why you'd play a game like this thanks for clearing that question up.

The game's a lot more fun when you're not playing with Koreans who develop viruses for American computer systems (*Cough* Game Guard/nProtect *Cough*) isn't it?

P.S. The entire time I was planing on implementing this I was laughing thinking how low the guy who wanted to cheat on our server would have to stoop in order to successfully do so.

He'd have to stoop as low as calling him self gay, and he did!

Update...

For those of you who don't understand what I'm referring to.

Every server/client with flyff uses a certain md5 salt for the passwords, I changed this salt to "nForceIsGay" because he'd then be forced to re-send this information every time a password insertion attempt was made.

Without this or an md5 collision using a different salt It'd be impossible to actually send any other salt with the password client sided so he was forced to willing admit to being gay in order to get his hack once again working on our servers.

Long story short...

nForce takes it as a challenge calls him self gay and gloats about the 2 second bypass that was intended to get him to call him self gay publicly.

From what I've seen and witnessed firsthand him and EvilKing together can both be the cocky bunch so I decided to play on that to have laugh by directly insulting him knowing he'd take the bait lmfao.

I used the think the two were a little full of themselves. nForce was responsible for nearly destroying the official servers literally with Augmentation.

Now he pulls this little stunt and all I gotta say is way to put him in his place deadly. I have lost all respect for him now.

I know EvilClown as well as he manages the flyff section on gamerzplanet. They act like private servers are evil while at the same time condone hacking flyff. go figure.

Micazz not pointless to stop idiot german kids until nForce does something against it...

Knowing him are pretty much alike when it comes to the situation I thought of what I'd be doing in his position basically jumping up and down in pride and joy about a new anti-cheat update and my new way to patch/gloat about it.

So I figured I'd turn the tables this time and make sure it was something easy... I actually dynamically patched "nForceIsGay" not just "nforceisgay" but I used a dll to overwrite the salt in memory after the anti-cheat system loads so our system would be required if people were unaware what the salt was.

Now that everyone is however it's a bit useless of a protection method and the fact I expected nForce to stall a few days kinda caught me off guard so now I got more coding to do and not even a quick fix.

and yeah, it's deeming to your own ego to actually be as to low as call your self gay in order to try and piss someone off and i find it fucking hilarious.
