Try to blend the pictures of the mobs in the background..use shadows blur etc. i would also advise changing the font...it doesn't fit there.
and don't make the edges of the boxes so dull, creeps me out for some reason

Okay, here's some input for you.
- Colors are awful.
- Background is extremely strange and inconsistent.
- Website grammar is very inconsistent. (Server co)
- Alignment is completely off and there's basically no symmetry at all.
- Fields on the login thing look really weird and misaligned.
- There's too much whitespace between the sections.
If you want to do something to fix all of this: Learn about symmetry and stuff and stop going all apeshit 6 year-old on your pirate copy of photoshop.
- Banner:
- - Horrible font type, does not match anything, the font size looks odd, it is just bad, change it.
- - The right picture does not match the colours of the banner and seems stretched too much vertically.
- Menu:
- - Vertical alignment is not good enough, the items are too close to the top.
- Server cp:
- - Center the input fields or make them larger
- - The placeholder text should be vertically center aligned and left aligned.
- - Login button is there but looks ugly and there is no register or password forgot button.
- Overall:
- - You have no feeling for design, sorry man. You do not see that differing the margins between elements is ugly. The element should be positioned not too far away from each other. Example: Left content (server status, user cp) and right content. The margin between elements differs at all points, top of the website and the banner, menu and the banner, menu and the main content part. It is all way to inconsistent.
All these points make this design a bad one. Have a look at other website designs and see how those are made. How elements are positioned and what colour combinations are good ones. Most of all, let the design be checked out by an honest friend so you know what you are up for when you release it.
Good luck with designing, redo this and then release it again.
@Spikenbror: I agree with you on the background, it is weird indeed, but by far not the worst about this website. It would have been worse if the background was distracting you from the rest of the website.
And in facebook you're saying that your website is better than this?

That template is really awful too.
Agreed, there are quite a lot of people releasing things that are really ugly. Mostly because they are inexperienced, but also because they have neglected to do some research and just added things randomly and applying photoshop effect.
Besides, photoshop should not be used for webdesigning. Fireworks in the right adobe application that should be used.
To say some last words about the bad designs, just ask a friend if he/she truly likes your design and let him/her be honest. Then ask yourself if you really want the shame on you for releasing something ugly. Most of these released could have been held back by a second opinion and then the publisher would never have had the shame on him/her for releasing it.

Both designs are pretty awful. A lot more design and technique is needed to improve them.
