i think what people normaly do is take a .o3d (IE: Bloody sword) and convert it into a .obj, do the edits and such, then convert it back to a .o3d. Try converting a file from .o3d. Opening it in your 3d editor, and dragging your new model into it and doing your edits. then try reconverting it back. worth a shot iono if it would work or not, just somthin i would try with trouble shootin

i tried editing a face model and got a similar error, i found out that some models just cant be converted, they dont work out, try rescaling it, and try the way i suggested earlier, if that doesnt work, hopefully i can get mine to work, if that fails..... hopefully some one can be our savior and release one XD

ive made a mask and it worked fine this is weird tho because it just didnt convert i didnt even add anything to my mask it was just me moving the points around so it could look more like ichigos hollow mask and i got pretty close to it so i thought why not try it out? and this is what happens so atm im thinking how bout i merge this mask with the mask i made before but the only thing is that well the other masks are all symmertrical this is the only one i found that isnt so why lol and the sword well that sword was made from scratch i took random sized squares and put them together then at the end connected them to make one shape i got everything perfect well as far as i could see it lol but yea nothing

theres one last thing that i can think of, when your saving the file, are you saving it as 1 poly, or multiple poly's just overlapping

Edit: I finished my model and having a similar problem, online my error is a tad bit differnt.....

after all that work, i feel your pain dude

Edit part 2: i think that we are useing old converters that barely works, here is a new converter

I worked on the next version and i guess it now is "useable". It's still not complete and in testing phase. I hope it helps you, altough changing all those bones is a pain the ass ;) but it was the only idea i had about changing bones.

Also, i think the best way may be... and i ahte to say it but.... opening the petal sword .o3d file with this program saving as .obj, opening that in the 3d editng software, and making the edits, followed by a export and opening in the progrmam to save as .o3d....... basically redo everything
