[Help] Trying to learn DDS.

Hey there. Recently I got everything I need to model for flyff, and I'm learning how create models pretty fast. Anyways, there's one part I'm stuck at. And I've searched PAGES of RZ for help so don't lecture me on that.

You see, I have my model. all ready to go, but I need a texture for it. A DDS. I don't know where to start to do this. I heard it's done in the 3D Modeling software, I use C4D and/Or 3ds Max.

If anyone can give me some help on exactly how I start making textures for my Models and Sexing them up before they go ingame, It'd really appreciate it.
