[Help with hamachi]

i know this is annoying but does hamachi actually work with the official files i have looked for awhile yea tried google to with no luck i changed the ips to match the ones with fames not knowing if thats the right thing to do also tried what other posts said and do i actually have to port forward? i thought that with hamachi it eliminates the need to port forward i may be wrong tho
and yea this server isnt gonna be public im not planning on that it was just for me my bro and a mate of mine to play when he comes over if anyone can help with this it would be great

oh forgot to say yea i got it so my laptop could log in and all pick the server but when i get to the point of picking the character i get a "connecting please wait" message and after about 10 minutes of waiting i get a "cannot connect to server please check connection" though when i change any other ip after this i can't even log in i hope that helps in regards to getting it to work

Yes it can be hosted on hamachi. Considering mine is hosted on hamachi

okay thanks jason did you have to port foward? and did you have to change your ips like fames ini ips?

Yeah you have to change all ip's to hamachi`s ip`s

umm i tried that i just couldnt even log in :s ive tried lots of ip sets i made up lol and nothing actually worked i would do port forwarding but my pass and acc for the login of my wireless router is lost somewhere and i have tried factory reseting it and it didnt work lol still just does the same old thing but i didnt actually know if port forwarding was needed for hamachi so i didnt try hard enough hopefully hamachi is an alternative to this until i can get my computer connected to my other router
