How To Block Port 4001 Crash

Well since I'm tired of servers complaining that there server is being crashed I'm releasing this guide on how to block it.

Step 1. Open Windows Firewall Start->Run->Type "FirewallSettings" with out the quotes and hit enter. Next make sure the firewall is Enabled if not then enable it.

Step 2. Go to the Exceptions tab and make sure that none of the servers are checked if they are then un-check them, now click
Add port...

when the box shows up fill it out like follows:

Name: 23000
Port Number: 23000
Protocol: TCP

Then click OK and repeat for each of these,

Name: 28000
Port Number: 28000
Protocol: TCP

Name: 15400
Port Number: 15400
Protocol: TCP

And if your running a web server,

Name: 80
Port Number: 80
Protocol: TCP

Step 3. Make sure port 4001 is not allowed thru the firewall.

Congrats you just blocked the port 4001 crash.

Note that if you run your webserver on port 8080, you should allow port 8080 instead of 80 (this won't apply to most people though).
