    How to Edit flyff models

    Hello there!

Let's take a shotcut and here is the guide!

    First download the converter
    http://www.sendspace.com/file/5ipci8

The program converts obj to o3d and o3d to obj.
If you wanted to edit any flyff model then you should convert it into .obj cause you cannot edit o3d files.

First lets edit a bloody sword for example, You should go to flyff folder > Models and search for the boody sword.o3d which is " Item_WeaSwoBloody.o3d " And " Item_WeaSwoBloody.dds " Copy them and paste them into " fyff model converter folder. "

    How to convert " Item_WeaSwoBloody.o3d To Item_WeaSwoBloody.obj " ?

Inside the folder you will see some .exe files "obj2o3d" and "o3d2obj"
lets say that you have the " Flyff model converter foler " In C:\Flyff model converter

To convert any of .obj or o3d files you should click start > Run and type " cmd " and press enter

then a black window will show up. type " cd \Flyff model converter "

for example if you want to convert o3d to obj type " o3d2obj Item_weaswobloody.o3d item_weaswobloody.dds item_weaswobloody.obj Press enter. then go to flyff model converter folder and you will see a file called obj go there and you will find your converted file

Than edit it with Cinema 4D. When your done with modding it, export it to wavefront obj

export it in flyff model folder and then click start > run type " cmd " then type " cd \flyff model converter " and hit enter, after that type " obj2o3d Item_weaswobloody.obj Item_weaswobloody.dds Item_weaswobloody.o3d and hit enter. it will save in new_o3d go there and copy it and paste it in flyff model folder overwrite the old one and you are done!

NOTE! I didnt make this program and i dunno who did :/ Im not stealing people's works

Sorry if the guide already exists

    Any questions ask here!

Well, i guess you should download Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86)
    Here is the link.

    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

After installing it go to " C:\WINDOWS\WinSxS " and copy two folers " Manifests " & " Policies " and paste them in Flyff model converter folder.

    Hope this works, Cheers!

With this, people can create uber-custom servers. Somebody should make a thread for custom sharing of thier work.

Hmm...is it possible to turn thoes angel wings into something more...graphic? Like real, white, angel wings

I think it works in 3ds max too, just opened the obj file and it seemed fine.

Re: How to Edit flyff models

Sorry for the double post, but I can't seem to turn obj back to o3d.
I renamed my folder to 'i', just so you know.
I'm using the sample, I erased the sample.o3d in New_o3d.
And I opened up C4D and made it into a gun.
Once I type in "obj2o3d.exe sample.obj sample.o3d" and press enter, it displays a bunch of random numbers and then calls me a dummy.

Been working on the full format today, it's crazily complex though so it'll take me a few days, but once I've finished it I'll post it on here like I did with lnd and hopefully whoever made the converter changes the format.
