You can only do this if you're using source files, not just resource. If you are, I can tell you how easily.

Open _Network/CmnHdr.h
find MAX_PIERCING_SUIT and change it from 4 to 10

Also, in your resource folder. find ItemUpgrade.lua and open it.
Add 6 more upgrade probabilities to tSuitProb at the top. It goes by 1/10000
So 10000 = 100%, 5000 = 50%, 200 = 2%, etc.
